Jeffreys Bay Surftrips

The main attraction that draws people to Jeffreys Bay is the pristine beaches that offer miles and miles of untouched splendour where one can collect shells, walk on the rocks and fish, take in a sun rise or, for the more energetic tackle the fables waves that break in the bay.
The surf cmmunity are very passionate about the beaches and keeping them clean and unspoilt. In 1999, the Supertubes Surfing Foundation (SSF) was formed to preserve the last section of untouched sand dune which is now known as the Supertubes Park.
The SSF will be assisting the Kouga Municipality with refuse collection during the Billabong Pro and were hard at work today preparing drums that will be placed along the beach for the duration of the contest.
Surfmaster students painted logos on the drums and in line with the anti nuclear stance that is growing in Jeffreys Bay, NO Nuke at Thyspunt also features on the drums.
